These bursaries aim to support students residing in Limpopo and focus on scarce and critical skills in the Agricultural sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fields of Study and Institutions:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>BSc: Veterinary Medicine<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Advanced Diploma in Veterinary Technology<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>BSc: Bioresource Agricultural Engineering<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Diploma: Civil Engineering<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Available at:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>University of Pretoria<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tshwane University of Technology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>University of Kwazulu-Natal<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Any Higher Education and ECSA-accredited institution<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Bursary Coverage:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Covers registration, tuition, accommodation, meals, and prescribed books.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excludes private accommodation, extramural activities, insurance, funeral cover, stationery, and computer\/laptop costs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Limited to full-time undergraduate studies in the specified Agricultural fields at any accredited South African university.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applicants must not hold any other bursary or NSFAS funding.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Successful candidates must enter into an award agreement with the Department.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Outstanding previous study debts will not be covered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Academic pass in Grade 12 with Mathematics and Physical Science both at 60% or higher.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Limpopo residents will receive preference.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encouraged: Females and people with disabilities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Application Procedure:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Obtain and submit completed application forms and supporting documents through District and Department of Agriculture and Rural Development offices or deliver to the specified address.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Required Documents: Certified copy of ID, Grade 12 Certificate, Proof of 2025 Registration\/Acceptance, Proof of guardian\/parents\u2019 income, Academic history for current tertiary students, Proof of residence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Closing Date:<\/strong>\u00a030 February 2025, 16:30.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.studentroom.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/01\/RE-ADVERTISEMENT-OF-EXTERNAL-BURSARIES-FOR-2024-ACADEMIC-YEAR.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Click here to download application form<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Submission Address:<\/strong>&nbsp;Head of Department Department of Agriculture and Rural Development 67\/69 Biccard Street Private Bag x9487 Polokwane 0700<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Note:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Communication will be with shortlisted applicants only.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If no response is received within 60 days post-closing, the application is considered unsuccessful.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Limpopo Department of Agriculture and Rural Development invites students to submit applications for the Bursary Programme for the academic year 2025.
